Welcome to GenPost. GenPost ("we," "us," or "our") operates the platform available at genpost.xyz. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with transparency and care. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding your data.

By using GenPost, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use GenPost:

Account Information

  • Name, email address, and password hash

Business Information

  • Business name, description, and industry
  • Services, locations, and brand assets (logos, colors, fonts)
  • Knowledge base documents you upload

Content Data

  • Generated blog posts, social media posts, and Google Business Profile posts
  • AI-generated images and branding presets

Usage Data

  • Features used and generation counts
  • Login times and IP address

Payment Information

  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial information. We only retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID for billing management.

Third-Party Tokens

  • Meta access tokens, Facebook Page information, and Instagram account information, stored encrypted on our servers for the purpose of publishing content on your behalf.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide the Service: Generate content, publish posts, schedule campaigns, and manage your brand assets.
  • AI content generation: Your business data is sent to AI services (Anthropic Claude for text generation and Google Gemini for image generation) solely for the purpose of generating content on your behalf.
  • Improve the platform: Analyze usage patterns to improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • Communicate with you: Send service updates, billing notifications, and important account information.

We want to be clear about what we do NOT do:

  • We do NOT sell your data to anyone.
  • We do NOT use your content to train AI models.
  • We do NOT share your data with other GenPost users.

GenPost integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

5. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures to protect it:

  • Data is stored on Supabase cloud infrastructure, backed by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
  • Database row-level security (RLS) policies ensure users can only access their own data.
  • Meta access tokens are stored server-side only and are never exposed to the client.
  • We conduct regular security reviews of our platform and infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
  • After account deletion: Your data is retained for 30 days following deletion, then permanently removed from our systems.
  • All generated content and images are deleted along with your account.
  • Database backups containing your data are purged within 90 days of account deletion.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can access your data at any time through the platform. Data export is available from your account settings.
  • Correction: You can correct any inaccurate data through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
  • Opt-out: You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Portability: You can download your content and data in a portable format.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

  • Authentication cookies: Essential cookies used by Supabase Auth to manage your login session. These are required for the Service to function.
  • Local storage preferences: Optional developer-mode preferences stored in your browser's localStorage.
  • We do NOT use third-party tracking cookies.
  • We do NOT use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

9. Children's Privacy

GenPost is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible. 10. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with the following additional rights:

  • Right to know: You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
  • Right to delete: You have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell your personal information to third parties. There is nothing to opt out of.
  • Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

11. International Users

GenPost is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and the processing of your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the updated policy takes effect. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
